Total CMS extensions

Extensions & documentation.

Documentation and release notes for the Total CMS 3 extensions built by Speedy Websites.

Speedy Websites builds extensions for Total CMS 3. Each one is free to download and use, and a Pro licence adds extra features. Each extension's documentation is below, with its full release history further down the page.

New names. In October 2026 our extensions were renamed: Site Structure is now Pixel Plan, Site Health is now Byte Checkup, and Bookings is now Relay Queue. They do the same jobs, and Pro licence keys bought under the old names keep working. To move over, remove the old extension, install the new one and copy your settings across. Each extension's setup guide (in the download) explains the details.

Installing an extension

  1. Download the extension's zip from its page.
  2. In your Total CMS admin, go to Settings → Extensions → Install Extension and upload the zip.
  3. Enable it and allow the permissions it asks for.
  4. Open it from the admin sidebar.

After that, each extension checks for new versions itself and updates in one click from its own admin page. Every download is checksum-verified. To switch on Pro, paste your licence key into the extension's settings (Settings → Extensions → the extension → Licence key).

Pixel Plan

Formerly Site Structure. Pixel Plan draws a wireframe of any Site Builder page: the layout around it, the template that draws it, the partials it pulls in, and the blocks and collections its content comes from. Orange chips are Site Builder files (change the design) and green chips are collections (change the words).

Settings

  • Show the layout frame, Show conditions, Show fallback branches: how much detail each wireframe shows.
  • Block conventions: how your theme names its block partials and block areas, so the wireframe matches your theme. The defaults suit the Speedy Websites theme.
  • Check for updates and Licence key.

Pro adds click-through editing, a site map of every page (PNG, PDF, SVG or Markdown) and a Checks tab for loose ends.

Byte Checkup

Formerly Site Health. Byte Checkup gives you a single page in your Total CMS admin that shows whether your website is in good shape. It checks your pages, SEO, extensions and server, then tells you what needs attention and where to fix it.

Settings

  • Show the Pages / SEO / Extensions / System card: turn off the cards you don't need.
  • Collections to check for SEO descriptions and image alt text (blank checks them all).
  • Thresholds: how old a draft is before it's flagged, how many recent templates to show, and when disk space counts as low.
  • Check for Byte Checkup updates and Licence key.

Pro adds scheduled checks with email alerts: set Check this site (hourly to weekly), Alert email, what to email about and when. It needs Total CMS's automations cron job, and the Automations permission switched on for Byte Checkup.

Relay Queue

Formerly Bookings. Relay Queue lets visitors book a spot in your classes or events, or dates for accommodation, straight from your website, with capacity limits, a waitlist, approvals and automatic emails.

After installing, open Relay Queue in the admin sidebar and click Setup. It creates the two collections and the email templates in your business name and colours, and checks the automations cron job (php bin/tcms automations:process), which sends the emails and reminders. Then put the booking form on a page: Setup shows the one line for a booking page, and you can also use a Page Block or type the booking-form shortcode (in square brackets) into any content area.

Settings

  • Collections for sessions and bookings (change these before running Setup).
  • Mailer templates for each email (Setup fills these in).
  • Booking rules: reminder lead time, the most spots or units per booking (each session can set its own), and the booking cut-off.
  • Check for updates and Licence key.

Pro adds Stripe payments (full price or a deposit), a customer page with calendar links and online cancelling, automatic waitlist promotion, repeating sessions, attendee lists and CSV export. Its settings are marked (Pro), and the Setup page walks you through connecting Stripe.

Release notes

Pixel Plan changelog

v1.0.1

5 October 2026 · patch · Requires Total CMS 3.5.0+

Tidier wireframe page: the technical note under every wireframe is gone.

Removed

  • The technical note under every wireframe ("Built from template source and the blocks collection…"). It explained how Pixel Plan works inside rather than anything you need to read a wireframe; the explanation is now in the README

v1.0.0

3 October 2026 · major · Requires Total CMS 3.5.0+

Pixel Plan is the new name for Site Structure: the same wireframes, site map and structure checks, as a new extension.

Added

  • Everything from Site Structure 1.5.0: wireframes of every Site Builder page, block conventions, and with Pro: click-through editing, the site map (PNG, PDF, SVG, Markdown) and structure checks

Changed

  • New name and id: Pixel Plan (speedyweb/pixel-plan), so it can't clash with another vendor's "site-structure" folder. Admin page: ext/speedyweb/pixel-plan/wireframe. Updates come from the pixel-plan release feed
Upgrade notes

Moving from Site Structure: remove Site Structure, install Pixel Plan and copy your settings across (Block conventions, licence key). Pro keys issued for Site Structure or the bundle keep working.

Byte Checkup changelog

v1.0.1

5 October 2026 · patch · Requires Total CMS 3.5.0+

The System card's "recent errors in the logs" check now works.

Fixed

  • "Recent errors in the logs" never worked: it asked Total CMS for a method that doesn't exist, so the row was missing and the page footer said the check couldn't run. It now reads today's log (or the newest, if under a week old) through Total CMS's own log analyzer: errors and worse only, each distinct error once with how many times it happened, newest first

v1.0.0

3 October 2026 · major · Requires Total CMS 3.5.0+

Byte Checkup is the new name for Site Health: the same site check-up page, as a new extension.

Added

  • Everything from Site Health 1.5.0: the Pages, SEO, Extensions and System cards, the built-in updater, and with Pro: scheduled checks with email alerts

Changed

  • New name and id: Byte Checkup (speedyweb/byte-checkup), so it can't clash with another vendor's "site-health" folder. Admin page: ext/speedyweb/byte-checkup/dashboard. The default Mailer template for alerts is now byte-checkup-alert. Updates come from the byte-checkup release feed
Upgrade notes

Moving from Site Health: remove Site Health, install Byte Checkup, copy your settings across (including the licence key), allow Automations for the Pro scheduled check, and use Create it now on the Byte Checkup page for the alert email template. Pro keys issued for Site Health or the bundle keep working.

Relay Queue changelog

v1.0.1

3 October 2026 · patch · Requires Total CMS 3.5.0+

Relay Queue now tells you when a session should take payment but can't, and the Setup page walks you through connecting Stripe.

Added

  • A warning on the Relay Queue page when a session is set to take payment but payments are off. It names the sessions and the reason: no Pro licence, no Stripe secret key, the wrong kind of key (a publishable pk_ key, or the whsec_ webhook secret in the secret key field), or Public routes switched off
  • Stripe step by step on the Setup page: sandbox (test mode), secret key, webhook destination and its two events, signing secret, Public routes, test cards and going live. The webhook address shows straight away, before any key is entered

Changed

  • The Setup page's Payments row always shows. Without Pro it says payments are a Pro feature, and a key that isn't a secret key gets a plain reason
  • SETUP.md's Stripe section follows Stripe's current dashboard (Sandboxes, Add destination)

Fixed

  • Sessions set to take payment were quietly booked without payment when Stripe wasn't set up correctly, with nothing to say why

v1.0.0

3 October 2026 · major · Requires Total CMS 3.5.0+

Relay Queue is the new name for Class & Event Bookings: the same bookings, waitlist and Stripe payments, as a new extension.

Added

  • Everything from Bookings 1.11.4: class/event sessions and accommodation, the waitlist, emails and reminders, the booking form on any page (function, shortcode, block), and with Pro: repeating sessions, attendee lists, CSV export, waitlist auto-promotion, manage-booking and calendar links, and Stripe payments

Changed

  • New name and id: Relay Queue (speedyweb/relay-queue), so it can't clash with another vendor's "bookings" folder. Admin pages are under ext/speedyweb/relay-queue/ and public routes under /api/ext/speedyweb/relay-queue/ (update your Stripe webhook URL). Twig functions are now relay_queue_form(), relay_queue_embed() and so on. The template namespace is @speedyweb-relay-queue. Schemas are relay-queue-session and relay-queue-booking. Collection ids and the [booking-form] shortcode are unchanged
Upgrade notes

Moving from Bookings: remove Bookings and its two collections, delete the booking-admin-notice email template, install Relay Queue, re-enter the settings, run Setup, point the Stripe webhook at the new address and update your templates to the new function names. Pro keys issued for Bookings or the bundle keep working.
