v1.0.0
Memberships for your Total CMS site: sign-up, login and account pages, members-only pages, and a Cookie Club page in the admin to approve and manage members. Free.
Added
- Setup tab: creates the member fields, the members collection, your first plan and its access group, and the member emails (for each one: Cookie Club's template, one of your own, or don't send it); gives you the code for the four member pages
- Sign-up form with a security token, a hidden bot trap and a rate limit; new members wait for your approval or are let straight in (your choice)
- Optional email confirmation: new members can't log in until they click the link
- Login, logout and nav links, with "Keep me logged in" and Total CMS's own password reset
- Account page where members change their details and password
- Members-only pages: a tickbox on every Site Builder page, the Locked pages tab, and a notice page that tells visitors why they can't see a page
- cookie_club_can() and cookie_club_member() for your own templates
- Members tab: approve, suspend, reactivate, expiry dates, private notes, password email, delete, add members yourself, and a list of emails that couldn't be sent
- Plans tab: rename your plan and choose how new members get in
- Hourly housekeeping automation (never changes anyone's access)
Needs Total CMS 3.6 Pro (Cookie Club installs a schema, which Total CMS only allows on Pro). After installing, open Cookie Club in the sidebar and run the Setup tab, then add the four pages it gives you code for. Member emails need working mail settings (Settings → Mailer). The full guide is in the README in the zip.
